This week’s themes all about Snapchat!!!
What does Snapchat have to do with Pretty Disturbia you might ask?
Well here at Pretty Disturbia Social Media plays a big part in the help of connecting with Customers/ Fans. Snapchat is a platform that we use to try and engage with our followers on a daily basis. We do different themes of the week so we use snapchat as one of the platforms that will reveal it and give extra information on what the week is about. It is also used to promote different items of clothing’s or accessories that fit in perfectly with the week and different OOTDs (outfits of the days) to help give people inspiration for different looks that they can achieve with PD items and give announce any offers or discounts that we may have on the platforms that we sell our products on. Snapchat is used to give behind the scenes content, so people can get a sneak peak of what’s to come. It is sometimes used to give information/ news on major things that are happening in the fashion industry to keep people updated. It just helps to keep Pretty Disturbia fans in touch and aware of what us PD Dollies are doing so that they can feel up to date with the brand and feel like they are a part of the team.
Here some Pretty Disturbia top tips for creating that perfect Snap
-Use emojis and filters to give your post a certain mood and add effect.
-Changing the speed of a video can add effect (speeding a video up to create a time-lapse effect so its not as long can make the viewers of it more engaged)
-You can apply more than one filter at a time
-Make sure your stories represent you, and show off your personality
-Use the colour pen tool to draw onto you snapchat, highlight and add detail.
-MOST IMPORTANTLY CREATE A SNAPCHAT POST THAT WORKS FOR YOU
