When I took this picture I felt it looked like scrunchies in long hair, then a bow now I feel it looks a bit like a tree lol! Each time I look at it I find it looks like something different.
Raising Money for Glasgow Children’s Hospital 2019
In June of 2019 I first created Social Scrunchies as a way of raising money for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, with 100% of profit being donated up until August 2019. Prior to creating Social Scrunchies I had been a play worker throughout the wards of Glasgow Children’s Hospital for 2 years and loved every second of working alongside the charity. Seeing all of the inspiring work the charity did for the children, young people and families attending the hospital inspired me to begin creating a scrunchie which customers would be able to purchase knowing they will be supporting an amazing charity. I have also attached another picture showing the fundraising I did in October 2019 for the children’s hospital with the help of my scrunchies at the Gymnastics Club I work at!😊💜
