Here at Boisterous Glamour were obsessed with the 90s. Reminiscent of our nostalgic childhood what better inspiration then to pay homage to one of favourite 90’s sitcom, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air! Our girl Hilary Banks’ and her boxy jackets, Carlton’s geek chic look, Ashley sporting wash denim and crops, Jazzy and his signature glasses, lastly our favourite Will Smith, eccentric offbeat style. Baggy pants, crazy mix print shirts, a sitcom that hosted endless inspiration growing up.

Boisterous Glamour first collection 'BLURRED VISIONS'
Here at Boisterous Glamour we’ve been busy working on our first collection! With a mix of andryonous aesthetics, we have created our collection called BLURRED VISIONS. In our generation gender roles are clouded, masculinity and femininity are mixed, we have drawn inspiration from this to create a clothing that is clouded, hand shredded fabric to create a blurred image through the cloth. Our collection is made up of reworked vintage pieces and new featuring body suits, hand dyed fabric, web shredded dresses, ripped and fringe shorts to name a few. Each piece has been hand made with love creating individual pieces.
Dark Romance trend at Fashion Week Fall 2013
We’re loving the dark morbid atmosphere set at Fashion Week fall 2013. Designers such Medham Kirchhoff, Micheal Van Der Ham and Erdem have all lead the trend with details such as lace, layers of mixed textures fabric and high necklines setting a somber but romantic mood.
